PAGAMENTO DE JUROS SOBRE CAPITAL PRÓPRIO

A Eternit S.A. – Em Recuperação Judicial (B3: ETER3, “Companhia” ou “Eternit”), em cumprimento à Resolução da Comissão de Valores Mobiliários nº44 de 23/08/2021, vem informar aos seus acionistas e ao mercado em geral que, em reunião do seu Conselho de Administração realizada hoje, foi aprovado o pagamento de Juros sobre Capital Próprio (“JCP”) aos acionistas da Companhia, considerando a regra do artigo 33 do Estatuto Social, no valor total de R$ 14.918.264,00 (quatorze milhões novecentos e dezoito mil duzentos e sessenta e quatro reais), equivalentes ao valor bruto de R$ 0,24152566 por ação, que se dará pelo valor líquido de R$ 0,20529681 por ação, já deduzido o Imposto de Renda na Fonte de 15% sobre o valor, exceto para os acionistas que tiverem tributação diferenciada ou que estejam dispensados da referida tributação. O montante ora distribuído a título de juros sobre capital próprio, na forma do artigo 9º da Lei nº 9.249/95, será imputado aos dividendos obrigatórios do exercício social de 2021, conforme legislação aplicável. O pagamento acima referido será realizado em 28 de dezembro de 2021 e tomará como base de cálculo a posição acionária de 21 de dezembro de 2021; as ações da Companhia serão negociadas na condição “ex” juros sobre capital próprio a partir do dia 22 de dezembro de 2021.

A Companhia manterá os seus acionistas e o mercado em geral informados a respeito do assunto tratado neste comunicado.

PAYMENT OF INTEREST ON EQUITY

Eternit S.A. – Under Court-Supervised Reorganization (B3: ETER3, “Company” or “Eternit”), in compliance with Resolution 44 issued by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Brazil (CVM) on August 23, 2021, hereby informs its shareholders and the market that its Board of Directors, at meeting held on this date, approved the payment of Interest on Equity (“IoE”) to the Company’s shareholders, considering the rule provided for in article 33 of its Bylaws, in the total amount of fourteen million, nine hundred eighteen thousand and two hundred sixty-four reais (R$14,918,264.00), equivalent to gross amount of R$0.24152566 per share, which will be paid based on the net amount of R$0.20529681 per share, already deducting Withholding Income Tax of 15% from the amount, except for shareholders entitled to special taxation or exemption. The amount distributed herein as interest on equity, under article 9 of Federal Law 9,249/95, will be attributed to mandatory dividends for fiscal year 2021, according to applicable legislation. The payment referred to above will be made on December 28, 2021, and its calculation will be based on the shareholding position of December 21, 2021; the Company’s shares will be traded ex-interest on equity starting December 22, 2021.

The Company will keep its shareholders and the general market informed of further developments on the subject of this notice.

A Eternit S.A. – Em Recuperação Judicial (B3: ETER3, “Companhia” ou “Eternit”), em cumprimento à Resolução da Comissão de Valores Mobiliários nº44 de 23/08/2021, vem informar aos seus acionistas e ao mercado em geral que o pagamento dos Juros sobre Capital Próprio (“JCP”) previsto inicialmente para o dia 28/12/2021, conforme Fato Relevante divulgado ao mercado em 14/12/2021, será realizado em 30/12/2021, em decorrência de ajustes com o Escriturador. Os demais aspectos descritos no Fato Relevante de 14/12/2021 ficam integralmente mantidos.

A Companhia manterá os seus acionistas e o mercado em geral informados a respeito do assunto tratado neste comunicado.

Eternit S.A. – Under Court-Supervised Reorganization (B3: ETER3, “Company” or “Eternit”), in compliance with Resolution 44 issued by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Brazil (CVM) on August 23, 2021, hereby informs its shareholders and the market that the payment of Interest on Equity (“IoE”), initially scheduled for December 28, 2021, as per the Material Fact notice disclosed to the market on December 14, 2021, will be made on December 30, 2021, due to adjustments with the stock transfer agent. Other aspects described in the Material Fact notice of December 14, 2021 remain unchanged.

The Company will keep its shareholders and the market informed of further developments on the subject of this notice.
